Here are some of my favorite Websites. I think you will enjoy them. Some of them are educational and some are just for fun. Remember the internet can be a wonderful world full of endless information. However, it also contains some things that are inappropriate. Make sure to stick to the links suggested or have a parent with you when you look at other sites.

Not very educational, and a little bit young, but I'm sure you'll want to check it out if you're a big Disney fan.

FBI for kids

Really pretty cool.  They've got great stuff set up to learn more about the FBI in a fun way!

 

Fish Calls
Fish what? Yup, this is a collection of sounds from a variety of fish. Other than the obvious whales and dolphins there are also the sounds catfish make and the Oyster Toadfish as well as others! It's actually pretty interesting.

Really cool physics stuff, much of it having to do with relativity, but also links to other cool sites.

Lamplighter Publishers are my personal favorite when it comes to publishers.  They are very selective about the books they publish, and although their books are a bit pricy, I've never regretted any of the hundreds of dollars I've spent on dozens of their books over the years.  They specialize in re-publishing VERY old literature - the kind that "they don't make like they used to!!!"

Make math fun with this  great online game! You can even play 2 player with your child (or a brother or sister). You can learn Addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. You can also set the difficulty level.

If you don't like wars, you won't like this site.  If you do like wars, this might be interesting to you, but it's way better in person.
